The archives, documentations and collections stored at the CIRA are only available on site with an appointment. The archival holdings of the CIRA are being updated. The elaboration and updating of minimal descriptions using the ISAD-G standards for each holding as well as the reuploading of existing inventories are under work. Concerning AtoM: AtoM is a web application for archivist descriptions that rely on the International Council on Archives standards (ICA) AtoM is the abbreviation of: «Access to Memory».
The ICA and their associated partners to the project intend to keep this web application a free software in order to provide a cost-free and friendly to use solution to the archivist of the world in order to easily put there documents online. To learn more about the ICA project, see the «About».
