Résumé :
"As the tragic history of both fascism and bolshevism complete their course, culminating in the modern democratic State, Ruhle's article becomes more readily comprehensible to us.
Written at the end of the thirties, it was dedicated to the struggles against both fascism and bolshevism. Now that the global capitalist project is disbandingthe stage sets of formal authority in favour of real power, the exploited masses of eastern Europe now also find themselves facing a new perspective of total control based on the western democratic model. Whereas the fascism of the "communist" states clearly presented itself as a backward, less intelligent form of control, that of modern democracy sets itself up as a power structure in which everyone must "participate"... but only on condition that the control remains in the hands of a restricted minority capable of coordinating the centres of economic power with those of political power.
The brief article by Rühle therefore retains its relevance : the struggle against fascism begins with the struggle against bolshevism. Today we repeat in the same way : the struggle against sophisticated fascism begins with the struggle against the more crude and therefore more easily comprehensible variety. In fact, in understanding the fascist nature of State forms such as the so-called communist ones, we realise that the only solution is the immediate and definitive destruction of power in whatever form."
